It's ok if you don't know

One of the things I've noticed on social media is that you shouldn't focus on what you don't want. You need to focus on what you do want. Manifestation 101, right? But what if you don't know what you want? Sometimes we have an idea what we want, but once we get it, we realize we had no fucking clue what we were getting into.

Like you wanna be a mom of many, but then you get the 1st kid, and you're like "Holy shit! This is harder than I though it would be!" So you start rethinking that initial headcount. Or you think you want to be a entrepreneur, but you didn't read the fine print of owning your own business, so now working for someone is looking more appealing.

These experiences didn't necessarily define what you want it, but they made it loud and clear what you didn't want. And I think that's okay. Sometimes we drive ourselves crazy trying to decide what we want. So much so that we end up paralyzed, and do nothing.

But instead of passively waiting, why not go out and figure out what you don't want. Try something new, and if you don't like it, then hey you don't have to try it again. That's going to be a big part of 2022 for me. I'm going through life, and trying new things, and if I don't like it, then there's a lesson learned.

What are you deciding in 2022? Are you just gonna wait and complain about the things that you don't have? Or are you gonna go out and experience life to get a clear definition of what you want? It's hard to make a plan without a defined goal.

It's ok to not know what you want. What's not ok is refusing to do the work to weed out what you don't want. But that's a personal choice though.
