What a historic time to be alive! Today is the inauguration of the 46th president of the United States Joseph Biden and the first Female Black/BIPOC Vice President Kamala Harris. Kamala’s heritage is rooted in her Indian and Jamaican upbringing. She is a proud HBCU graduate of the Mecca, Howard University, and a member Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
As a woman, a Black woman, I couldn’t be more proud of Madame VP Harris! I pray that this day in history marks the beginning of a shift in understanding the power that women truly have to lead and make good trouble!
