Happy Women’s History Month

One thing for certain, two things for sure…we are advocates for all things Black and woman over here. I am always honored to share space with Dope Women and this month will be no different as we will be highlighting even more.

I truly believe that every woman has a story that can inspire and motivate someone else. You don't have to be a business owner, lawyer, entertainer, or influencer to be a BOSS chick. The fact that you are a woman, a carrier of life, a portal makes you a boss! You are a whole Queen Sis! I hope you know it and walk in it confidently.

This morning as I was scrolling my Instagram feed I came across this very beautiful and inspirational message from Lauren London. Check it out here! Women's History Month means so much more than just honoring the history and where we have come from, but it is more about where we are in the present and where we will be going in our future. There's so much left for us to do and be and experience. We just have to be bold enough to walk in it and not let fear keep us from getting everything that we deserve.

In the meantime, what are you doing to take care of yourself? Self care is still our priority Sis! Yesterday, today, and hence forth! You feel me! Here are a few tips to help you start on your self care journey! It's never too late to start.

Last, but certainly not least, I can't start the month of March without wishing my sweet bonus baby Amber Michele a happy 11th birthday! I love you sweetheart! I am so proud of the Dope Black Girl you are!

I hope you start this month off with a whole lot of self-love and an abundance of courage to set your sights on your dreams. Sending you love and positivity this day and everyday after!

XOXO,

MichelleRena

"There is so much power in letting go. We must all learn to flow with the river and not fight with the rocks".
