Happy Saturday! It’s day 20 of my 30 days of gratitude challenge! Today I am grateful for my sweet bonus baby Amber! Being able to play a part in her life has been one of my greatest joys.
She brings such a balance to my life. I have watched her grow from a shy and quiet little girl to an assertive and powerful but still reserved tween. I love her personality and humor. It’s weird but she acts so much like me. 🤣🤣🤣 A real jokester but always knows how to get back to the business. I know her future is going to be amazing and I am so grateful that I get to be there to watch it unfold. I love her so much!
I am also grateful for her mother because she is the reason I am able to have such an amazing relationship with Amber. Our relationship has evolved so much over the years. She has helped to cultivate such a healthy co-parenting environment for us to work together to raise a beautiful, strong, and powerful young Black Queen! Yasssss!
I am grateful for my bonus baby Amber because she is truly that…a bonus! Marrying her dad was the win but getting to be Amber’s bonus Mommy was and is the real prize! I pray that she always knows that Mommy Michelle loves her beyond the expressions of words.
