What are you budgeting for?

I won't hold y'all long!
So I told y'all church was real good yesterday and I even shared the link (sharing it again because it was that good) so you could go see for yourself.
Did you look? Be honest!
If you did, great!
If you didn't that's cool too!
The way Pastor Jackson broke down the importance of having a budget resonated with me in a way that I never expected. I am all over the place when it comes to spending but that isn't the only currency that is being overextended. My finances are just as stretched as my time. I am committed to changing that in this season, so this week's challenge is to create a budget.
I want to operate in excellence in my life but I can do so being a whimsical giver of my finances, my time, and my worship. I am seeking an intentional existence In my life!
I no longer want to overextend myself like I have in the past. I want to give intentionally and be a good steward of my time and my finances.

In all transparency, I have avoided anything even remotely related to money or budget discussions because I believed that faith was enough to carry me through anything. In all truthfulness, faith has carried me through a great deal but my faith should not be an excuse for my lack of good stewardship. If I am going to walk in excellence, I have to be committed to doing the work in all areas.
Your joy is coming, protect it with your whole heart and remember don't be a joy thief!
I love you! I know you may not know me, but I really do! Why? Because you are absolutely worthy of being loved!
Love,
MichelleRena
