Let Them Talk…

Pray for those who seek to harm you…I have to smirk at the thought of that because why would I pray for someone who clearly wants to be my enemy.

Everybody that wants to hurt you won’t try to do it physically. There are those who intend to hurt you by attempting to tarnish your character or speak ill on your name. They are just as dangerous as those who attempt to physically harm you. But this morning’s devotion reminded me that you have to keep your eyes set and centered on God.

While the enemy may attempt to attack you, there antics are simply a distraction from reality. The reality is God’s love for you is divine and all that you need. You will never need the approval of the world.

To translate it…LET THEM TALK!!

Let them attempt to tarnish your name or defame you. Why? Because your true character will always speak volumes to who YOU are!

Why? Because they can say what they want about who you are but that means nothing because God has already said who you are!

I am so glad that I finally know who I am and who God called me to be. I am grateful to know that God is all that I need and will ever need. More than anything I am grateful for the fullness of his love for me. I no longer walk around depressed and deprived of love and acceptance because I am deeply loved and fully accepted by the only one that matters…My God!

I pray that anyone who is reading this and struggling with acceptance from a spouse, parent, sibling, friend, or the world learns that while having that may feel like everything, accepting yourself as the center of God’s love will free you from the bondage of needing to be accepted by anyone else. God’s love is never failing and unconditional. God only ask that you accept the love by showing the love to others.

I am already so full of joy and my feet haven’t even hit the floor yet. I hope you find joy today too. But if you can’t, please don’t steal anybody else’s!
