Kids can be joy thieves too!

I am going to say the thing that folks don't wanna say...sometimes it be your own kids!

I had a really great day! It was productive, it was peaceful...I got to serve and highlight some amazing kids and I even got to take one of my kids on a tour of a school. The day was ending great but then...

Shit went crazy! One kid made a mess of their shared bathroom and the other was pissed and had a meltdown because I didn't take their concern seriously. Me and the oldest ended up cleaning up the mess, but the sheer outrage regarding the issue sparked a world war. Everyone is tired of cleaning up after another and I am just standing there like "welcome to my world" wtf!

Instant headache and damn near a loss of a good day! I had to remind myself how good of a day it actually was because I could feel my shoulders tensing and my jaws clenching in frustration. A day full of joy nearly loss because someone took bronzer and painted the bathroom and another person wanted to see justice served in the form of an azz whooping!

FTK...I still had a good day even though this was the Mondayest Tuesday ever and despite the littles attempting to steal my joy! Everyone is on punishment until peace is restored!
