I am MichelleRena and I am happy to be able to share a little bit of the world outside of my window with you.
I am wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, an educator, and advocate, and a lover of all things Black, Girl, and Magical!
I live in South Florida but I was born and raised in Mississippi on a farm! So I’m real southern girl. Although I didn’t appreciate it growing up, I am extremely grateful for my roots and I love where I’m from!
Being a wife and mom are my favorite titles but I am learning that I am so much than just that. I’m learning who Michelle has become as a result of being somebody’s wife and mom and I’m honoring the growth of this new person. Sometimes I’m all put together and others a hot mess. I call it balanced! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I strive for peace and work to protect mine daily as well as providing a space of peace and protection for my sisters!
I believe that support is an action. So I aim to use my digital footprint to highlight and empower Dope Black Women and Dope Black Businesses regularly. If you know some Dope Black Business owners that should be featured send them my way.
I am transparent about my life because I believe wholeheartedly that sharing your journey (the good, the bad, and the indifferent) can help someone else along their journey.
I am grateful for those that I have encountered along the way and I’m always excited to meet new people.
