It’s day 22 of my 30 days of gratitude challenge and today I am grateful for transparency. Being transparent allows me function freely without being fake. I lay it all on the table. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the indifferent of my life all have their place and I honor each of them.
For me being transparent removed the stress of worrying about what others might think if they knew who I am at the core. Being transparent removed the veil of judgement and empowered me to truly be free. What you see is what you get! A mom, a wife, a friend, a daughter, a sister, a soror, and the Black woman’s hype woman! I am me unapologetically, transparently, and free. I am grateful for the freedom that being honest and transparent with myself and others has afforded me.
What are you grateful for today?
XOXO,
MichelleRena
