In the spirit of gratitude, I can't move forward without acknowledging the source of my strength.
As they say in the old school Baptist church I grew up in..."Giving Honor to God who is the head of my life!" That opening hits different at this big age! When I was a little girl, I didn't quite understand what the older people meant by God kept me so I wouldn't let go. I thank God for keeping me because I know that its the relationship that I have with God that sustains me and comforts me on my good and bad days.
This life, motherhood, adulthood, marriage, career...all of it at times feels extremely overwhelming. But GOD!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 The Lord is truly my light and my salvation and because of that I fear no one. I am so thankful for the relationship that I have with God because I am constantly reminded that every interaction, every test is a part of my purpose being fulfilled.
Here lately I’ve been questioning some of the tests that I’ve been going through but even in the midst of what feels like the most difficult tests, I have been kept and comforted. I am not alone! So thank you God for you that! 🙌🏽 Where I am weak he is strong which makes me strong because I am created in the image of God!
