Meet La'Surprise S. Jackson, Tampa based confectioner and truly Dope Black Woman. La'Surprise was born and raised in Pahokee, FL and her love for family and community is what makes her art more than just a fad. The treats that she creates literally keeps the community on its toes! Ya'll when I say to know this woman is to truly love her, I can't find a better way to describe her other than DOPE!
Sweet Sirprise, LLC has become a household name in the Muck and it's making its way across the country as a highlight for many treat tables. They say a picture is worth a thousand words...well whenever any of Sweet Sirprise's treats are captured you can bet there will be chatter. The pictures just don't do it justice.
How did Sweet Sirprise, LLC become the Queen of Sweets?
La'Surprise, affectionately accredits her love and talent for creating confections and other delicious dishes to her "Granny"! Her Granny, whom she often refers to as her "Main Bang" is her source of strength and one who ensured that she learned the tricks of the trade. The love that she has for her grandmother and her hometown of Pahokee drives her passion and has helped her to make a huge mark in the area of confections truly creating her own lane. But it doesn't stop there, she doesn't just make sweet treats, everything she creates is a delight to your tastebuds and she makes it her business to give back to the community that raised her.
