When I scroll my social media feeds...or look at the world around me in general I am so overwhelmed by the spirit of Black Girl Magic! I see woman moving, shaking and creating spaces where we once were denied. I become proud and excited. I see Black women and girls trailblazing, setting a path for their blood line and I become enamored with joy. There’s truly nothing more potent than Black Girl Magic. It really is all around us. And for those who seem to deny its existence, trust me, you won’t be able to do so much longer. The air is filled with it and pretty soon everyone will have to recognize its power.
So to every Black Girl and every Black Woman, keep working your magic beautiful! They don’t have to understand it, but they will respect it.
